Your garage already has a slab, walls and a roof. That makes it a strong starting point for new living space. We can convert it into a bedroom, an office or a family room. Or we can build a new room on top of it.
One family had us build an addition of about 1,400 sq ft above their garage. Building over the garage adds space without taking up more of your yard. If you still need the parking, we can plan a new detached garage too.

For example, Caldwell has a separate residential addition permit packet, and Boise has its own permit type for residential additions and alterations. Outside city limits, the county handles it.
We check the setback and zoning rules for your lot early, before design is final. Then we pull the permits and work with the inspectors through the build. If you’re in an HOA, we’ll help you get their approval too.
Older homes in established Boise or Eagle neighborhoods often need more structural matching than newer homes in Star or Middleton. We plan for that up front, so there are no surprises once the walls open.
